Day 1: ARRIVE KOCHI
Arrive at Cochin and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: KOCHI
European influences are instantly apparent in this charming town picturesquely located on a number of islands squeezed between the Arabian Sea and the Kerala backwaters. The maritime history of Cochin is reflected in its blend of Dutch, Portuguese and British architecture.

Day 3: COCHIN TO MARARI BEACH (40 KMS / 3 H)
We start early and head out to the beautiful Marari Beach. The entire stretch of the ride keep you busy with the its sights and sounds. We stop over at the beach where we will halt for the night.

Day 4: MARARI BEACH TO ALLEPPEY (20 KM / 1 ½ H)
We gear up for the day with a sumptuous breakfast to help us feel fit all through the day. We ride along roads that are stretched out under the towering trees to reach Alleppey, the queen of backwaters. Along the way you get too see some busy villages that are engrossed in processing coir husk to ropes an mats. Later we set out to explore the backwaters on a kayak.
Activities: Cycling in the morning & Kayaking in the afternoon.

Day 5: ALLEPPEY
The morning scene in the backwaters its quite different from that of the evening. So we hop onto a kayak again to witness the morning beauty of the backwaters. While you enjoy the peaceful quiet of the water, it would be bustling with morning activities of the locals who go about their daily chores and a variety of bird species.
After lunch hours you are going to do a motor cruise along the backwaters.

Day 6: ALLEPPEY TO KUMARAKOM (50 KM / 4 H)
We pull our eyes off the beautiful backwaters and cycle to our pick up point where we continue in our assigned vehicles to Kumarakom. Riding along lush green paddy fields and the coconut palm lined roads is truly a heart-warming experience.

Day 7: KUMARAIKOM TO PERIYAR (125 KM / 4 H)
Morning checkout and drive to Periyar covering a distance of 180 Km in approx 5 hrs.
Periyar is the name for the abode of elephants in Kerala. The thick forest is home to many animals and birds and is a place to visit to satisfy the naturalist in you. In the evening we make a visit to the spice plantations where your guide will explain how these special spices that add the zing to the Kerala cuisine are grown.

Day 8: PERIYAR TO CHATURANGAPARA (70 KM / 2 H)
We reach Nedumkandam, the point from where our trek is to begin. From there we put our endurance to test as we walk through spice and pepper plantations trying to spot the spices as you walk past.

Day 9: CHATURANGAPARA TO SHANTANPARA (TREKKING)
We start today’s trek from the capital of World Spice Trade. The cardamom and shola forest provide a great trekking trail. While on our trek we cross small isolated villages that grow spice and may be get them talking about their life amidst the scented plantations.

Day 10: SHANANPARA TO SURYANELLI (TREKKING)
The day's trek is mainly around the Mathikettan Shola National Park, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna including the Malabar Giant Squirrel, gaur, sambar and elephants. We will start our descent through tea plantations until we reach the picturesque Anaerangal Lake.

Day 11: SURYANELLI TO MADURAI (135 KM / 4 H)
Drive to Madurai, the 2500 year old city of South India. The temple city provides so many amusing sights with its streets thronging with pilgrims, small old fashioned houses with open air kitchens, cows wandering on the streets and bazaars that are full of colour and sell little trinkets. Later in the day, take tour of around Madurai travelling on a cycle rickshaw. This way you don’t just get to enjoy the city at a relaxed pace, but also make sure that this eco friendly mode of transport does not go out of use

Day 12: MADURAI
Morning after breakfast explore Madurai with Auto Rickshaw - Meenakshi temple, one of the largest temple complexes in South India and a typical example of the Dravidian architecture, the Thirumalai Nayak Palace, a gracious edifice built in the Indo-Saracenic style and the Gandhi Museum.

Day 13: MADURAI TO KOVALAM (305 KM / 7 H)
We catch an early morning train and head to Kovalam, a beach destination popular amongst those looking to have some fun. Literally meaning ‘a grove of coconut trees’, Kovalam is true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. So Kovalam is the ideal place to end the tour in style after the multi action holidays.

Day 15: DEPARTURE KOVALAM TO TRIVANDRUM (15 KM / ½ H)
